The Modern Poster
Charles Scribner's Sons, or simply Scribner's or Scribner, is an American publisher based in New York City, known for publishing a number of American authors. The published Scribners magazine for years and hired artists such as William Bradley to do some covers. William H. Bradley (10 July 1868–1962) was an American Art Nouveau illustrator and artist. Nicknamed the "Dean of American Designers", he was the highest paid American artist of the early 20th century. This "peacock" poster became one of his most famous art nouveau designs.
