Billy Smart's New World Circus and Menagerie: 12 Polar Bears, 7 Black Bears
Billy Smart (1894-1966) bought a British travelling funfair in the 1930's and expanded it with horses and a second hand circus tent in 1946. The circus was never very large but became famous in the United Kingdom. In 1971 it shut down and even with two attempts to revive it wasn't meant to be. This poster is one of the legacies of this English treat. Circus poster of polar bears performing.
